Information Purlsona uses

Purlsona stores the account and profile information you provide, along with the projects, stash items, patterns, posts, messages, purchases, and other content needed to provide the service. Service providers may also process authentication, payment, storage, error, and delivery data on Purlsona's behalf.

First-party usage analytics

For signed-in accounts, Purlsona records privacy-minimal daily product usage rollups so we can understand which tools are useful and improve the product. Each rollup stores only your Purlsona user ID, a fixed tool key, your local calendar date, counts of opens and meaningful actions.

These analytics do not store your searches, messages, filenames, form values, project or pattern names, URLs containing identifiers, or other user-created content. Purlsona does not use these rollups to sell advertising or build advertising profiles.

Individual rollups are restricted to administrators, and access to an individual account's analytics is logged. Aggregate analytics are suppressed for cohorts smaller than five people.

Retention and deletion

Daily usage rollups are retained for up to 24 months. Deleting your Purlsona account deletes its usage rollups automatically. Other records may have different retention periods when needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, meet legal obligations, or preserve required financial records.
